Job Title: Legal Secretary
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Denver, Colorado - Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 annually (For candidates with 10+ years of experience, up to $95,000 - $100,000)
Bonus: Competitive annual bonus of $3,000 - $7,000 (paid out in July of each year)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)
LHH is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Legal Secretary to join our client's Legal team in Denver. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and transactional work, with additional litigation experience being a plus.
Responsibilities:
Draft and format complex legal documents such as motions, discovery shells, tables of authority/content, declarations, and proposed orders.
Prepare and coordinate physical and electronic filing and service of legal documents in various federal and state jurisdictions.
Sort and distribute mail according to office policy and attorney preferences.
Receive and screen telephone calls, referring matters as appropriate.
Maintain calendars for meetings, appointments, business travel, and special events for assigned attorneys.
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events, including travel arrangements and preparation of related materials.
Assemble and manage confidential and sensitive information.
Resolve issues involving internal and external clients by phone or in person.
Enter, edit, and review attorney time entries.
Prepare client bills with narrative edits.
Gather and research information for forms, processes, and other administrative tasks.
Process invoices, reimbursements, and open new matters.
Assist firm leadership and practice group leaders with administrative or operational tasks.
Team Structure:
Supporting 4-5 Attorneys
Work alongside 2 other Legal Assistants, 1 Tech Support, 1 Business Development, Office Admin, and Librarian
Must-Haves:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and transactional legal work
Proficiency in MS Suite, Outlook, Adobe Sign, and DocuSign
