We are looking for our client, a start-up company based in Lausanne, a Product Quality Lead for a job creation.

Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, you will drive all quality activities across the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

Your expertise will ensure that we deliver high-quality, innovative products that meet and exceed customer expectations. This is a hands-on position that requires collaboration with various teams and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your responsibilities :

• Create and execute a quality strategy that aligns with our goals and adapts to evolving project needs, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee quality activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that quality is integrated into the development, prototyping, and production processes.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to establish quality requirements and ensure that products are built to specification
• Establish robust quality assurance processes and best practices tailored to the fast-paced nature of a startup, including test plans, validation protocols, and metrics for success.
• Champion quality within the organization, encouraging team members to embrace quality as a shared responsibility and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Keep the voice of the customer at the forefront of all quality initiatives, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in hands-on testing and validation activities to identify issues early and drive timely resolutions.
• Maintain clear documentation of quality activities and outcomes, providing regular updates to the leadership team on quality performance and improvement efforts.

Your profile :

·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

·Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.

·Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) relevant to product development in the tech industry.

·Hands-on experience in managing quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

·Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment, with a willingness to adapt and take on new challenges.
