We are seeking a skilled Property Accountant for one of our excellent clients in Greensboro. This role is responsible for managing the accounting for several different property accounts within the organization, balancing budgets, and resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain financial models, reports, and analyses.
Manage accounting functions related to property management, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and lease administration.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for properties.
Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in property accounting or financial management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
This is an immediate need and the permanent salary is $85,000-95,000 depending on experience.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
