Title:
Payroll Specialist Location: Los Angeles and West of the San Fernando Valley Pay: $30-$40 hr. LHH Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, and a 401K plan. Our program allows employees to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Responsibilities:- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of a computer system
- Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
- Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
- Minimum four years of experience as a Payroll Specialist
- Knowledge of Kronos, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, Paychex, UKG
- MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel
