Key Responsibilities:



  • Carry out experiments to validate or reject different hypotheses under specific conditions using precise scientific methodologies.


  • Conduct laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, observe the outcomes, and analyze the results.


  • Ensure hazardous materials and chemical substances are properly stored, organized, and handled according to safety protocols.


  • Ensure supplies used within experiments are prepared and cleaned prior to use.


  • Manage inventory of lab, maintaining and ordering supplies as needed.


  • Document results and data with precision.


Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or related field is preferred, or currently working toward such degree.


  • Experience working as a Lab Technician or related position for 1-2 years, particularly in an environment where harmful chemicals may be present.


  • An individual of high character and integrity.


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and associated Microsoft applications.


  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to details as it relates to data management.


  • Analytical, with experience interpreting and analyzing data.


  • Willing and capable of working safely in an environment with hazardous materials.


  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

  • Compensation: $22-23/hr


  • Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1 hour lunch
