LHH is working with our client in West Hills, CA, to locate an Application Analyst for a 1-year, full-time, onsite contract role. This position supports critical healthcare applications and requires expertise in Windows server environments, MS SQL databases, and medical device software. Reporting to the Financial Systems Manager, the Programmer Analyst IV will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize software applications, including GE Health Carescape and Philips Capsule MDIP, to support both clinical and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for healthcare applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on clinical workflows, assisting clinical teams with critical applications and business processes.
Perform system workflow and business process flow analysis to develop and document optimized solutions and enhancements.
Conduct regular system maintenance, apply patches, monitor alerts, and ensure thorough testing and documentation for all changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users to identify and implement timely solutions.
Manage smaller projects, serve as a point of contact for business owners, and assist in developing and scheduling system enhancements.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and troubleshooting Windows server and desktop environments, including MS SQL Database or similar systems.
Direct experience with medical device applications, particularly GE Health Carescape; experience with Philips Capsule MDIP and HL7 interfaces is highly preferred.
Experience working in healthcare, especially within hospital settings, is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced knowledge of information systems technology, and strong skills in system and business process workflow analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, onsite role, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call availability for weekends as needed.
1-year contract.
Anticipated hourly pay rate: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
