The Accounting & Human Resources Support Specialist plays a dual role in providing essential support to both the Finance and Human Resources Departments. This professional handles a variety of accounting and HR duties to ensure the smooth operation of departmental activities for our client in Ventura! Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Handle payroll duties.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks to support the finance team.
  • Participate in HR initiatives and projects.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Manage benefits administration.
  • Maintain technical records and files.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations align with departmental goals.
  • Contribute to a positive experience for both customers and employees.
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Provide timely and accurate correspondence.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree (A/S) from a two-year college.
  • 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in an Accounting & Human Resources Specialist role or similar position.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
