Bookkeeper/Office Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a manufacturing company in Tempe. This company is in search of a full time bookkeeper to join their team. This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The range of pay is between $27/hr-$31/hr DOE.


Responsibilities:



  • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.


  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.


  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.


  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.


  • Manage payroll processing and associated tax filings.


  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.


  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.


  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
