LHH is currently accepting application for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The A/P Supervisor will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports and account reconciliation.
This position is onsite, M-F, 8-5pm.
Pay Range (depending on qualifications/experience) $50,000-$60,000.
Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of location.
Responsibilities of the AP Supervisor:
Continuously improving accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Managing relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and resolving any payment-related issues.
Regularly reconciling accounts payable records with vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment-related inquiries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Prepare and distribute various accounts payable reports as required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
· Proven experience working in accounts payable.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
· Experience with Dynamics GP, concur expense/invoice is a plus.
