Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join our client's team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and maintaining up-to-date records of accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare necessary documentation.
- Communicate with clients to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
