Contract/Temp to Hire
$30.00 - $36.00 per Hour
- Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Verify timekeeping records and ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Prepare reports for management review summarizing payroll activities.
- Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Certification in Payroll (CPP or similar) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Temporary to hire
- Fully onsite in Tacoma, WA
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
