LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently working with a growing oil and gas company. Our client is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant candidate working under the direction of the Accounting Manager. This role encompasses the traditional full cycle general accounting, revenue accounting, and financial reporting with a great growth succession opportunity! The position will be responsible for the accounting related to revenue accounting.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate contracts and billings for proper revenue treatments.
Review new contracts terms and validate contract setup
Reconciled Deferred Revenue
Prepare and analyze the Deferred Revenue waterfall
Validate anticipated contract renewals
Responsible for general accounting functions
Ensure that company financial statements are prepared
Assist with accounting and reporting
Prepare audit schedules and coordinate work related to external audits.
Perform a variety of special projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting required
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of Revenue accounting with oil and gas industry experience
Revenue Accounting experience required
Skills:
Detail-oriented
Strong analytical skills
Excel proficient
