LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Qualified Electrical Technician for a growing safety, engineering, training, and consulting company. We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Electrical Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tracing electrical feeds and a thorough understanding of arc flash hazards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.
Company offers: Salary, Bonus (discretionary), 3 sick days 1 year - Vacation -1 -2 weeks (1 week after 6 month) 401(k) – 4% match (eligible after 90 days)
Responsibilities:
Trace electrical feeds to identify and resolve issues within the electrical system.
Conduct arc flash hazard analysis to determine potential risks and implement necessary safety measures.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments to support electrical projects and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of electrical work and safety inspections.
Provide training and guidance to other team members on electrical safety and best practices.
Qualifications:
Certified as a Qualified Electrical Worker.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to trace electrical feeds.
Familiarity with arc flash hazards and experience conducting arc flash hazard analysis.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel to sites 10 days on site 4 days at home
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical system modeling software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, Easypower).
Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial or commercial setting.
NEC or NFPA-70E Preferred
