Job Title: Senior Staff Platform Procurement Manager

Location: On-Site in Secaucus, NJ

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Platform Procurement Manager to join our team in Secaucus, NJ. The ideal candidate will come from a computer hardware manufacturing company and possess a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor engagement. This role requires advanced knowledge of procurement principles, excellent data management and analysis skills, and the ability to lead and mentor teammates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for platform-related hardware and services.
• Initiate and lead new engagements with vendors, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
• Manage data analysis and presentation to support procurement decisions.
• Lead conflict management processes to support the greater good of the organization.
• Mentor and support teammates and internal organizations where applicable.
• Utilize innovative and creative problem-solving skills to address complex and/or contentious issues.
• Present facts and recommendations effectively in both oral and written form.

Must Haves:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, ideally within a computer hardware manufacturing company.
• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead new vendor engagements professionally.
• Expertise in data management, analysis, and presentation.
• Skilled in conflict management to lead internal processes for the benefit of the organization.
• Experience in mentoring teammates and supporting internal organizations where applicable.
• Proven track record of using innovative and creative problem-solving skills to address complex or contentious issues.
• Advanced understanding of procurement principles, theories, and processes.
• Strong ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.
