A company in the professional services space is partnering with LHH to search for a temporary to hire Staff Accountant. You will be working with a team and will be trained, but you need to have at least two years of previous accountant experience and a bachelor’s degree to be considered. This position requires an analytical approach to accounting reporting and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment. The company is growing and there will be opportunity to move up internally on the team.     • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
    • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow projections.
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Analyze current accounting processes and make suggestions for efficiencies.
    • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • At least two years of experience in accounting or a related role.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Employment Details:

    • Temporary to hire.
    • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
    • Fully onsite in downtown Seattle, WA.
    • Parking stipend is available upon conversion to a permanent employee.
