Staff Accountant

Contract to hire
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per Year
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow projections.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze current accounting processes and make suggestions for efficiencies.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Temporary to hire.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Fully onsite in downtown Seattle, WA.
- Parking stipend is available upon conversion to a permanent employee.
