LHH is seeking a highly organized Legal Assistant to join a dynamic firm. This role will provide vital administrative and practice group support to a Tax Partner, two Technology Transactions Associates, and a Shared Services Team. Additionally, you will be a key player in supporting various internal teams, including the Client Growth Team, IT Billing, and administrative team functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge across multiple practice areas within a firm, with room for growth and responsibility development. This role offers a hybrid working environment with 3 days in office after the first 90 days of training in office. The anticipated salary for this position is between $75,000-$95,000 a year.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with deal and contract work, including editing and formatting agreements. Provide administrative support such as client/matter openings, client billing, tracking Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements, document management, travel arrangements (on occasion), and expense reports.
· Provide administrative assistance to the Technology Transactions Associates. Over time, there will be an opportunity to build relationships and increase practice group support.
· Assist the Shared Services team by providing backup support for associates, senior counsel, paralegals, and other attorneys when their assigned assistant is unavailable.
· Assist with various firmwide projects and tasks, offering critical assistance to different teams and functions across the organization.
· Help the Client Growth team with a variety of tasks, ranging from basic research and data tracking to more complex assignments. Tasks will be sent via a centralized email inbox.
· Manage and process vendor invoices for the IT department. This role will involve working with a busy email inbox and handling timely billing requests.
· Assist the Director of Administration, managers, and other administrative teams with additional tasks and daily activities as needed. Support may expand depending on team needs.
· Provide reception coverage and other administrative duties as necessary.
· Maintain and enter daily tasks to stay organized and ensure all assignments are completed in a timely manner.
Skills:
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to adapt to a variety of administrative tasks across different practice areas
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred, but not required
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in different areas of the firm
