$35.00 - $50.00 per Hour
- Prepare and organize transactional closing documents, checklists, memorandums, title objection letters, post-closing memorandums, and closing binders
- Conduct title and survey due diligence review and analysis for complex real estate transactions
- Track transaction details by creating and utilizing checklists, monitoring progress, and ensuring completion and compliance of all required documentation for real estate closings
- Work with title companies to handle recordings in multiple jurisdictions
- Manage electronic data room files and update matters in Deal Tracker
- Coordinate and analyze UCC, litigation, and other public record source materials
- Utilize firm technology and software
- Maintain client, matter, and practice group-specific libraries in both hard copy and electronic forms
- Coordinate storage of client information with the firm’s records department
- Minimum of 3 years of real estate legal experience
- Proficient understanding of legal terminology specific to real estate practice
- Capable of tracking both billable and non-billable time
- Strong internet research skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated experience with data room platforms such as HighQ, DropBox, and Box; familiarity with Smartsheets is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive in taking initiative, handling projects, and anticipating needs
- Able to independently manage time effectively
