LHH is working with a large payroll team to search for a temporary Payroll Specialist for the next twelve months. You will be processing weekly payroll for about 400 employees and they process payroll in multiple states so ideally they would like someone who has handled high volume, multi-state processing. Also, this position does offer a hybrid schedule after training. The office is in Seattle, WA. You will work with a team and will be trained, but you need to have high attention to detail and be extremely accurate with your work. This position offers a quick interview process so apply now if you are interested.
Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll for employees across multiple states
  • Stay updated on all federal and state tax guidelines
  • Respond to employee inquiries
  • Review contracts to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Audit payroll variances and research to solve discrepancies
  • Additional projects and tasks as needed
Required skills:
  • At least three years of payroll processing experience
  • Knowledge of payroll processing platforms, such as UKG or ADP, is preferred
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong customer service skills and able to communicate with internal customers
Employment Type:
  • Temporary for a year
  • Hybrid schedule after training
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
