Job Title: Corporate Attorney (Contract) Location: Fully remote in the United States - need to be comfortable working PST hours Employment Type: Contract - Ongoing with fluctuating hours Hours: 20 hours per week Pay: $60-85/hr.
LHH is seeking a Corporate Attorney to join our client’s team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:Assist clients, including start-ups and growth companies, with corporate governance matters.
Participate in M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, and advising on transactional matters.
Provide legal counsel on corporate transactional work, including structuring deals and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
Handle additional projects as assigned based on skill set and client requirements.
Requirements:
Attorney barred in any state with 5-7 years of corporate/M&A experience.
Strong expertise in corporate governance, M&A, due diligence, purchase agreements, and corporate transactional work.
Prior experience in a law firm setting preferred, as it provides valuable exposure to various types of corporate deals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members remotely.
