LHH is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client growing company in Seattle, WA. This position will be a 6-month contract that is fully onsite at the client location.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure proper approvals.


  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.


  • Enter and code invoices into the accounting system.


  • Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).


  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.


  • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.


  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.


  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.


  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.

Qualifications & Skills:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).


  • Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related field.


  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).


  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.


  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


Compensation: $25-$30/hour DOE
