LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Staff Accountant position in Sarasota, FL. This is a direct hire/onsite during training then hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Perform various accounting duties including recording journal entries, assisting with accounts payable, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, assisting with annual budgets, performing quarter/year end close, etc.
Experience
- Minimum two years of general accounting experience required (experience can include relevant accounting internship)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Work Hours/Salary
- Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
- $50,000-56,000
