Position Title: Leasing Agent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Santa Cruz, CA
Job Duties:
The Leasing Agent will report to Property Manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the leasing team and ensure smooth operations at the leasing office.
Key duties include:
Answering phones in a courteous and pleasant manner to provide excellent customer service.
Greeting applicants, residents, and vendors as they arrive at the office.
Supporting the leasing team with marketing efforts, including mailing marketing materials and tracking marketing activities.
Meeting with prospective tenants to provide tours of the available units and answer any questions they may have.
Accepting rental applications and ensuring they are filled out completely and legibly.
Assisting in entering pre-applications into the waitlist software system.
Meeting with prospective residents to complete their initial intake process.
Processing paperwork to determine income eligibility for prospective residents.
Preparing files for review to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, frequently sit, occasionally stand or walk.
Use a telephone, sort and file paperwork or parts.
