Family Law Attorney (Contract) - Remote

LHH is actively recruiting for an experienced family law attorney to support our client on a contract or contract to hire basis. Our client is a well regarded boutique family law firm in San Mateo, Ca. This opportunity can be full remote.
Responsibilities:
Complete strategy meetings with clients at the inception of representation by the firm;
Advise clients on their legal options in determining the course of litigation and/or settlement;
Review and respond to correspondence from clients and opposing counsel;
Prepare trial briefs for clients.
Prepare case strategy and case strategy team oversight while giving direction on all complex cases, including cases set for long cause hearings;
Represent clients in litigation at various hearings;
Sit first chair in Trials, as needed;
Requirements:
Licensed by the California State Bar;
Minimum of 5 years' experience in family law is required;
Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) Preferred;
Extensive experience in high-net-worth divorce;
Courtroom experience, completed trial advocacy class/programs, and/or participated in trial competitions;
Strong legal research and writing skills;
Attention to details;
Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations;
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
