LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Pension Technician in San Jose, CA.
Pension Technician Department: Pension Location: San Jose, CA Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $26.92 – $28.58 per hour (DOE)
Handle retirement benefit calculations and pension-related inquiries
Provide excellent customer service to members regarding retirement options and plan benefits
Review and process pension data and documents in accordance with plan rules and regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to track and report data
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure timely processing
Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish and English (Required)
2+ years of customer service experience (Required)
2+ years of Microsoft Word and Excel use (Required)
At least 1 year of experience with retirement plans (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and/or 401(k) plans) – Preferred not required
Basic accounting knowledge – a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
