Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant

LHH is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients team on a contract basis in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting functions and a strong understanding of financial processes. Experience with Great Plains software is a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

· Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.

· Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.

· Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

· Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Perform other accounting tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

· Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

· Experience with Great Plains software is preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
