LHH seeks a Program Director in San Francisco, CA.


The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management, clinical and rehabilitation services, staffing, facilities, and fiscal operations of an adult residential treatment program. This role involves managing client intake and discharge processes, advocating for client needs, and ensuring high-quality treatment and rehabilitation services. Responsibilities:



  • Deliver high-quality clinical, rehabilitative, and culturally competent services to clients with substance abuse, psychiatric diagnoses, and HIV-related issues.


  • Train staff and perform duties including intake interviews, client treatment plan development, implementation, and discharge planning.


  • Assess clinical needs of resident clients and evaluate for potential crisis situations.


  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.


  • Monitor and document clients’ progress toward individual goals.


  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all program personnel.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with client referral sources and related community service programs.


  • Review client records for accuracy and compliance with agency, clinical, fiscal, and Medi-Cal standards.


  • Coordinate staff work schedules and conduct weekly staff meetings and supervision sessions.


  • Collect client census data and reports as required.


  • Maintain facility and services in accordance with licensure standards, ensuring client care and supervision.


  • Must be flexible to work alternate weekends and pick up occasional swing shifts for coverage


Minimum Qualifications



  • Masters Degree in Social Science Preferred along with 4 Years of managerial experience


  • Bachelors Degree in Social Science required, along with 6 years of managerial experience


  • Tech Savvy, EPIC is a PLUS


  • Understanding and commitment to Social Rehabilitation.


  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, supervise, and train staff.


  • Cultural competency in working with diverse populations on mental health, substance abuse, and HIV/AIDS issues.


Pay Range: 70,000-85,000Annual compensation reflects experience and licensing.

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
