The Remote Payroll Manager is responsible for assisting and auditing payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payments in the US and Canada. This position will be a tactical role that is involved in every aspect of payroll processing.
Manage high volume bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly & salary employees in US and Canada (New Hires, Terminations, Employee Changes, Importing of hours, and garnishments)
Administer employee benefits including the company 401K plan
Mentor, coach and provide support to Payroll Administrators
Deliver prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay including garnishments and taxes
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years payroll experience with 3+ years in a people managing role.
Working knowledge of Canada payroll laws and legislation.
Experience with Dayforce is a plus.
