Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team on a 6-month contract basis in San Francisco, CA. This position requires 2 days onsite per week and offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $38 to $43 per hour. The ideal candidate will have 6 or more years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

· Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.

· Manage vendor relationships and address inquiries related to payments and account balances.

· Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.

· Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers.

· Assist with month-end close activities and provide support for audit requests.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

· 6+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.

· Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable processes and 3-way matching.

· Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

This is a 6-month contract position with a pay rate of $38 - $43 per hour.
