$35.00 - $43.00 per Hour


Primary Purpose:

Support the IT team by designing and documenting detailed business requirements. Work closely with business units to understand their strategies, processes, and operational context. Translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain detailed business requirements based on an in-depth understanding of client processes and data.


  • Serve as the primary contact for the development team regarding requirements.


  • Quickly master new topics to become an expert in business processes, IT processes, applications, and data.


  • Perform tests to ensure requirements are met and identify use cases for test automation.


  • Manage user requests and issues, providing timely updates to management and stakeholders.


  • Handle inquiries about requirements, testing, client needs, issues, and resolutions.


  • Adopt work management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL queries, Excel models).


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:



  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.


  • Self-directed, goal-oriented, and able to learn independently.


  • Advanced decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.


  • Strong verbal and written communication, this environment will have users approaching you in person, via pings, emails, calls asking questions and needing guidance, strong communication and "bedside manner" is pertinent to a successful hire


  • Ability to break down complex business processes to identify requirements, create test scenarios, and explain business needs to operational and sales teams.


  • Experience in conducting professional in-person and online meetings to elicit requirements.


  • Manage time across multiple assignments in coordination with team members.


  • Work effectively in an open and dynamic team environment within a Scrum team and Agile methodology.


  • Experience within a SDLC, project and product management, and programming (MS SQL queries) is preferred.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.


  • 2-4 years of related work experience.
