AP Specialist

LHH is looking to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist job in San Diego, CA. Our client is central to downtown San Diego. If you live locally and are a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and ready to join a cohesive tenured team with a great manager this could be your calling. Pay for this direct hire position is $24/hr plus there’s opportunity for a 7% annual bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS DIRECT HIRE AP SPECIALIST INCLUDE:

• 
  

  Compile and maintain accounts payable records in a high volume environment

• 
  

  Match payables to the general ledger

• 
  

  Generate, process, and distribute checks

• 
  

  Ensure clients are paid accurately and on time

• 
  

  Reconcile and correct any discrepancies

• 
  

  Notify appropriate parties of any accounting irregularities

• 
  

  Create monthly reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  

  2+ years of experience in an accounts payable and ability to handle high volume

• 
  

  Good verbal and written communication skills and able to act as a liaison

• 
  

  Reliable and able to work under minimal supervision

• 
  

  Able to work in a fast-paced high volume environment
