Civil Practice Lead

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a West Coast Civil Practice Lead for our client in San Bernardino, CA. This is a full time, direct hire role. The ideal candidate will also be able to work on-site at least 2 days a week.

The West Coast Civil Practice Lead will be responsible for planning and designing railroad-related projects, managing daily operations of engineering personnel, ensuring goals are met, and overseeing project managers and practice leads. This role requires 10+ years of experience and would be a great fit for an applicant with relevant experience in railroad market sectors.

Responsibilities:

· Manage daily operations of engineering personnel

· Perform planning, analysis, and design for rail projects

· Support and manage civil team

· Oversee regional and practice leads, as well as project managers

· Responsible for ensuring team goals and key performance indicators are met

· Assist with mentoring, training, and recruiting staff

· Collaborate with marketing team

· Manage pursuit pipeline

· Engage in professional organizations and key conferences/industry events

· Frequent travel required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

· Minimum 10 years of experience

· Must be currently licensed professional engineer

· Relevant experience in railroad market sectors

· Knowledge of civil design codes and software required

· Demonstrated experience managing engineering business and financial

· Proficient with MS Project

· Exceptional communication skills

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
