LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting Legal Assistant for a law firm client in Salem, OR. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide administrative assistance, including managing correspondence and calendars, editing legal documents, and ensuring deadlines are met. This would be a great fit for an applicant with estate planning or litigation experience. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to assigned attorneys, including calendar management, correspondence, and case management
· Prepare pleadings and court filings for electronic filing
· Schedule and monitor attorney calendars and keep apprised of approaching deadlines
· Transcribe, draft and proofread correspondences
· Proofread and edit documents and ensure deadlines are met
· Communicate with clients, vendors, and outside counsel
· Maintain client files
Qualifications:
· Notary certification required
· Estate Planning and Litigation experience preferred
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize matters
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Highly dependable and professional
