Compliance Coordinator LHH is partnering with a prominent construction company in Roseville, CA to recruit a talented Compliance Coordinator. The Compliance Coordinator ensures compliance with California and Federal laws. This role involves overseeing the collection, review, and documentation of subcontractor certified payroll reports, utilizing tools such as LCP Tracker. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Accountant and Controller, this position requires proactive management of deadlines and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate has construction industry experience, extensive knowledge in California and Federal prevailing wage knowledge, experience using LCP Tracker, and proficiency in Excel, Sage 100, and Procore. They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize detail-oriented tasks, and possess excellent communication skills. This role emphasizes collaboration within a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review subcontractor certified payroll reports and prevailing wage documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for projects and jobsites.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required prevailing wage documentation.
  • Address discrepancies with subcontractors and facilitate timely revisions.
  • Verify subcontractors' DIR numbers and expiration dates.
  • Provide wage determinations and related information to the Estimating department.
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with awarding agencies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with third-party compliance companies for subcontractor documentation review and approval.
  • Facilitate contractor close-out processes across all tiers.
  • Prepare prevailing wage documentation for subcontractor agreements.
  • Assist in preparing weekly reports for Project Managers and Project Accountants.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a prevailing wage position within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal prevailing wage requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, LCP Tracker, eComply, and DIR.
  • Experience with Sage 100 and Procore is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of project staff and organizational departments.
