Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Senior Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Richmond, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in accounting with an emphasis in the construction industry. The role will prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, perform month-end and year-end closing processes, reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and assist with projects as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP) - Manage the annual close process (month, quarter, year-end) - Strong computer/technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel) - Construction industry experience required - Software experience with a medium to large ERP system - Good communications (verbal & written) - Detailed, accurate, and organized - Team player, a positive attitude, reliable, and dedicated Experience: 5 years of senior level accounting experience (Senior Accountant, Small Company Accounting Manager, Small Company Controller) Employment Type: Temp to Hire If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com!
