Job Title: Financial Contract Specialist Location: Renton, WA (Hybrid Schedule after training) Pay: $28.20 - $35.53 Length: Contract 4-6Months
LHH is actively interviewing candidates for a Financial Contract Specialist role with our nonprofit client located in Renton, WA. This role will collaborate on funding opportunities, supporting proposal and budget development. Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy; ability to learn new software quickly
Strong math, analytical, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Advanced organizational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills with empathy and active listening
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse colleagues and stakeholders
Experience with diversity, cultural relevancy, racial equity, and inclusion
Must be able to pass the yearly credit and criminal background checks
Responsibilities:
Interact with internal and external partners, focusing on customer needs
Provide grant management and compliance support, ensuring regulatory compliance
Support implementation of Pyango and NetSuite Non-Profit + Grant Management software
Maintain online contract data system and manage award schedules
Develop and implement grant compliance systems and procedures
Monitor grant phases, ensuring budget transparency and performance outcomes
Conduct project audits and advise on grant management issues
Foster positive work relationships and support the organizational mission
Provide projections based on current spending
Collaborate with programs on funding opportunities, supporting proposal completion, including written materials and budget development
