LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a client in the construction industry. This role is based in the Charlotte/Raleigh, NC area. In this role you will provide project support and coordination for ongoing project requirements.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist project managers with documenting and logging change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation, attending meetings, and facilitating project coordination activities.


  • Manage schedules, project progress, shop drawing requirements, and material releases. Assist in monitoring project performance, budget management, and ensuring adherence to project objectives and quality standards.


  • Review and interpret plans, shop drawings, and other project documents to identify change management needs, perform drawing comparisons, and document pricing requirements.


  • Ensure all work procedures are performed safely, reinforce safety standards, report incidents, and comply with company policies. Attain and maintain familiarity with various systems related to electrical construction.


  • Cultivate cooperative working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, and customers. Directly manage small construction projects under guidance to develop project management skills.


Experience and Skills:



  • 6+ months experience as an Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator


  • Experience in electrical construction preferred


  • Construction degree preferred not required


Compensation: $52k - $79k


Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
