- Coordinate procurement processes including issuing purchase orders, sourcing quotes, and negotiating purchase terms.
- Utilize contract management software, Novatus, to review and process contract requests.
- Collaborate with business teams to facilitate contract execution, negotiate contract adjustments, and resolve vendor disputes.
- Assist in negotiating supplier terms, encompassing pricing, delivery schedules, and project scopes.
- Liaise with internal legal counsel to ensure contract compliance with relevant laws and corporate policies.
- Provide guidance on procurement and legal protocols to internal teams, offering training as needed.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to regulatory requirements at federal, state, and local levels.
- Conduct risk assessments, monitor supplier performance, and address issues promptly.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, earning their confidence and respect.
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience
