Job Title: Transactional Legal Assistant Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid) Duration: ASAP – through end of March (contract) Pay: $30-$40 per hour LHH is are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transactional Legal Assistant to support three attorneys at our client’s firm in Downtown Oregon. Duties:
  • Proofreading, managing conflicts, opening new matters, handling pre-bills, scheduling, saving document
  • Handling DocuSign, proofreading, and managing pre-bills
  • Working on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), contracts, business documents, and some estate planning.
Parking: Please note that the firm does not pay for parking for temporary employees. Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience within OR state.
  • knowledge of OR State and Federal rules
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in proofreading and document management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with business transactional work and estate planning is a plus.
