LHH is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our client in Portland, OR. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work environment after training is complete. Our client is seeking a candidate to collaborate on strategy and move cases forward through discovery and investigation. This role is highly involved with attorneys to process cases from start to finish. You will also interact with clients. The benefits and training program are bar none! Responsibilities:
Review and process legal documents
Participate in team meetings on a routine basis
Assess evidence documents
Handle database management
Potentially go to trial alongside lawyers
Perform case and fast manager functions
Conduct witness interviews and investigations
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a Paralegal program of study
5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Experience analyzing & summarizing medical records, preferred
Experience preparing subpoenas & discovery requests, required
Experience assisting attorneys in both state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington
Experience with Litigation Support programs such as CourtTrax
