Job Title: HR and Payroll Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Portland, Oregon
Salary: $25-$30 per hour, DOE
Duration: 3-6 month contract with potential for extension

Job Summary: LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Coordinator to join our client's team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of HR experience and exposure to processing timecards and/or payroll. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of their HR and payroll functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Handle timecard processing, including reviewing and verifying employee hours.

  • Assist with HR functions such as onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR experience.

  • Exposure to processing timecards and/or payroll.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in HR and payroll software.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar is preferred.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
