Bankruptcy Paralegal (PDX) - Remote

LHH seeks a motivated Corporate Bankruptcy Paralegal to join a leading law firm in Portland, OR. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in the client's office and 2 days remotely after a 60-day training period in the office. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in bankruptcy, professional, detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.

This law firm offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, FSA , 401k, and many more! Low billable hour requirement of 1200 per year with an anticipated salary of $65,000-$110,000 a year + bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

· Processes, drafts, and files bankruptcy-related documents

· Corresponds with clients regarding case progress and any issues

· Tracks deadlines and project statutes to ensure completion, and collaborates with counsel and other parties on resolving legal issues

· Conducts legal research on bankruptcy-related issues

· Analyses bankruptcy claims

· Submits legal documents to the Bankruptcy Court promptly

· Collects information from debtors, creditors, trustees, and court clerks

· Assists with the preparation of electronic filing

Qualifications and Skills:

· 3+ years of corporate bankruptcy experience

· Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience is a must have qualification

· Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws and procedures

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe and Bankruptcy preparation software

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

· Team player
