$23.00 - $29.00 per Hour
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
- Analyzing workflow processes.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Processing due invoices for payments.
- Performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of account.
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 plus years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the electric sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
