LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce an opportunity for an Entry Level Contract Immigration Paralegal to join our confidential client's legal team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to start their career in immigration law and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications.
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Gather, organize, and review documents and evidence for immigration cases.
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and forms related to immigration matters.
  • Maintain and update case files and client records.
  • Communicate with clients to collect necessary information and provide case updates.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and other entities regarding immigration cases.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, interviews, and court appearances.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Strong interest in immigration law and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Prior experience or internship in a legal setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, but not required.


Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
