The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Trainer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs for both new hires and existing employees within the Patient Financial Services (PFS) department. The Trainer will design and implement learning curricula, training materials, and assessments to ensure employees meet performance expectations. Additionally, the Trainer will collaborate with the PFS Project Manager and other leadership staff to develop research and testing projects as part of a continuous process improvement program. The role also involves creating testing instruments to qualify employees for specific positions and validate training retention. Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver training materials and sessions for PFS employees.
  • Design effective training programs for all applicable software systems within PFS.
  • Schedule training classes for all PFS employees, in both group and individual settings.
  • Develop training classes and agendas for new PFS employees.
  • Create educational materials specific to payers and job assignments, in both visual and written formats.
  • Coordinate educational opportunities with other subject matter experts, both internal and external.
  • Develop testing materials to assess knowledge base and training retention.
  • Participate in the creation of performance requirement criteria for bonus structures.
  • Assist in auditing employee work to identify areas needing remedial training.
  • Work with other management team members to address various training needs across the department.
  • Participate in the development of periodic process audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain records of all training classes and sessions.
  • Update training materials on the SharePoint website.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, or Adult Education required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in education or training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent medical billing experience.
  • Training certifications preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug test and background screen.
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
