Patient Financial Counselor
ONSITE in Phoenix, AZ area
Pay rate: $19 - $23 per hour
Schedule 8am – 4:30p (potential for flexibility)
Responsibilities:Hospital Billing responsibilities and working claims denials.
Interview and register patients, completing insurance authorizations and patient eligibility.
Provide financial counseling and review patient’s financial responsibility.
Assist in patient copays and financial arrangements, coinsurance, and deductibles explanations.
Obtain financial agreements from patients and follow up on missing information.
Generate balance sheets and prepare deposits collected.
What you bring!
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required: 2+ years of recent experience in Patient Financial Counseling, or Medical Billing.
Understanding of private and commercial insurances.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Professional in communication via email, phone and in person.
Experience working with MS Suite and EMR / EHR systems.
