LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Biller for a growing organization in Phoenix, AZ. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in processing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies or government payers for reimbursement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring healthcare providers receive timely and accurate payment for the services they render.
This position is a full-time, in-office position, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
Obtain additional information and support for claim processing or to discuss outstanding patient balances with options for balance resolution.
Analyze billing, collections, and payer trends.
Categorize and quantify payer payment issues for resolution.
Track payer trends and reporting to management.
Handle patient calls in support of collection activities.
Draft correspondence to payers to patients and payers including appeals for denials.
Qualifications
5+ years of Medical Billing experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding (HCPCS) codes
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPPA Guidelines
