We are seeking a skilled A/R, Credit, and Collections Administrator to join our client's team. This role is crucial in managing accounts receivable, credit evaluations, and collections processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining positive customer relationships. This is an onsite opportunity paying between $25/hr - $28/hr, located in West Phoenix, Monday through Friday between 8AM - 5PM.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations.
  • Conduct credit evaluations of new and existing customers.
  • Participate in credit meetings to discuss credit limits and terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on B2B interactions and collections.
  • Initiate collection calls and emails to recover outstanding balances.
  • Address customer inquiries and disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor accounts for overdue payments and take appropriate actions to collect debts.
  • Send missed invoices and statements to ensure timely payment.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of recent experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collections roles.
  • Experienced with B2B collections practices and relationship-building techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to varying company sizes from small sole proprietors to large corporations.
