LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable and Receivables Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and a proven track record of managing customer payments and resolving discrepancies. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.


  • Accurately record and reconcile customer payments, applying them to the appropriate accounts and invoices.


  • Contact customers to resolve payment discrepancies and facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive relationships.


  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.


  • Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable aging reports, providing insights and analysis on outstanding balances and aging trends.


  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues promptly.


  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.


  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables.


  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.


  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.


  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.


  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
