Accounting Analyst-AR

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in Central Phoenix. This company is in search of a full time accounting analyst, focused on AR to join their team. This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. To be considered for this role, you must have 3+ years of AR experience, as well as working knowledge of SAP. The salary range is between $70,000-$80,000.

As an Accounting Analyst with a focus on Accounts Receivable, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing financial data related to customer transactions. Your expertise in SAP will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient AR processes, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Analyze AR aging reports and implement strategies to improve collection times.
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and present AR-related financial reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Conduct credit evaluations for new customers and set appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor and report on key AR metrics and trends.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • MUST have SAP experience to be considered for this role.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role, at least 3 years.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
