LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Manufacturing company based in Philadelphia, PA for a contract role. We are looking for someone to support manufacturing operations by managing effective accounting functions and collaborating with team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Pay: $21-$23/hr Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable related to manufacturing expenses.
  • Record daily transactions, including client deposits and trust fund allocations.
  • Oversee journal entries for financial activities, ensuring accuracy in records.
  • Process vendor invoices for timely payment.
  • Handle credit card transactions and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Ensure adequate funding for operational accounts.
  • Execute check requests and maintain the general ledger.
  • Address inquiries from staff and vendors regarding financial matters.
  • File quarterly Sales Use tax and process annual 1099 forms.
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash funds.
  • Administer employee-related payments, including MERP and FSA.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and other financial reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for overtime work when necessary.
  • Consistent record of good attendance and punctuality.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or a related field, with a preference for manufacturing industry experience.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with various accounting software.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, including a strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.
